The TIB called for a global youth action against Israel’s “genocide” against the people of Palestine, particularly in Gaza.

A pro-democracy and human rights group, Take It Back Movement (TIB) has warned the US President, Joe Biden to stop supporting ‘genocide’ against the people of Palestine in Gaza by Israel in the ongoing Israeli-Hamas war.

The TIB issued the warning on Friday while demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, urgent and adequate humanitarian aid to Gaza, lifting of the blockade of Gaza and ending the Israeli occupation of Gaza.

Take It Back Movement in posts on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday said, “The genocide of the people of Palestine, and the slaughter, siege, displacement, imprisonment and starvation of Palestinian children must stop now. We demand an immediate cease-fire now!”

Introducing #YouthoftheWorld and #Ceasefirenow hashtags, TIB declared its support for South Africa’s genocide legal action against Israel over the war against Hamas that has taken a deadly hit in Gaza.

“We are horrified by the on-going genocide being perpetrated against the people of Palestine. Accordingly, we support South Africa’s case to stop the genocide,” the Movement said.

The TIB called for a global youth action against Israel’s “genocide” against the people of Palestine, particularly in Gaza.

SaharaReporters on Thursday reported that about four countries and one international organisation had backed the ongoing genocide case brought by South Africa against Israel before the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

South Africa is accusing Israel of subjecting Palestinians to genocidal acts in the ongoing conflict Isreal-Hamas war in Gaza.

According to Al Jazeera, Malaysia, Turkey, Jordan, Bolivia and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) have all pitched their tent with South Africa. The Maldives, Namibia, Pakistan, the Arab League, Colombia and Brazil have also put their weight behind South Africa.

However, the United States of America has opposed the genocide case. Israel’s Western allies, including the EU, have maintained silence while the United Kingdom has refused to support the case.
