The National Examinations Council (NECO) has fixed February 14 and 15, for the 2024 staff promotion examination and interview.
A circular dated January 9, 2024, with Ref: NECO/AD/46/X/1082 which SaharaReporters obtained on Thursday, stated that staff members would bear the cost of their transportation and accommodation to sit the examination that would be held centrally at the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State.
The circular addressed to the Directors, Special Assistant (SA), Registrar/Chief Executive, Personal Assistant (PA), Registrar/Chief Executive, State Coordinators, Liaison Officer and All Staff was signed by Director, Human Resource Management, Mrs. Folake B. Eweje.
Titled: "Notice of Date For 2024 Staff Promotion Examination," the circular indicated that arrival for all the participants would be February 13, 2024.
It said, "I am directed to inform all staff that the Registrar/Chief Executive has approved that the 2024 Staff Promotion Examination” will be held on February 14 and an oral interview will be held on 15.
"Staff would be expected to bear the cost of their transportation and accommodation. Those for the oral interview are to present original copies of their credentials.
"The Registrar/Chief Executive wishes all staff good luck in the Examination," it read.
