Nabeeha’s killing sparked outrage in the country with Nigerians on social media lamenting the escalating insecurity in the country.
Najeebah Al-Kadriyar, one of the six girls of the Al-Kadriyar family who were kidnapped by terrorists in the Bwari area of Abuja on January 2, has paid tribute to her sister, Nabeeha who was killed by their abductors.
According to Najeebah, her sister died as a martyr.
SaharaReporters had reported how one of Nabeeha’s uncles, Sherifdeen, narrated what the kidnappers who took his nieces told the family before showing them the corpse of the murdered lady.
Kidnappers abducted Nabeeha, her five sisters and their father in their residence in the Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), but the kidnappers unfortunately killed her (Naheeba) over a delay in the payment of ransom.
Nabeeha’s killing sparked outrage in the country with Nigerians on social media lamenting the escalating insecurity in the country.
In her tribute to her late sister, Najeebah, who was released over the weekend alongside her four other sisters, said their father told her Nabeeha was smiling in death.
In a series of posts on her X (formerly Twitter) handle, Najeebah said, “Inalilahi waina ilaehi raji'un. I truly believe Allah was most pleased with you when he took you my love.
“You were always saying your Shahada, you died a martyr and you died on Friday. You were even born on a Friday subhannallah. And in all these I find comfort,” she said.
In another post, she said, “My dad just told me she was smiling in death, Subhannallah subhannallah. Ya Allah. Even while we were there she would always remind us to send salawat on Fridays, say our Shahada and kursiyy before sleeping, supplicate after asr. My Rabb, My heart.”
