Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has said that Russia's goal of launching war on the Ukrainian front is not only about the country or its independence.

President Zelenskyy said this on Saturday as he awarded the Ukrainian Defence Intelligence warriors with state honours, saying that the soldiers had ensured that Ukraine recorded another success in the war against Russia.

According to President Zelenskyy, it is critical to maintain the maximum consolidation of the free world and do everything possible and impossible to ensure Ukraine's ability to inflict defeats on Russia.

He said, “Russia launched this war on the Ukrainian front, but its goal is not only Ukraine or our country's independence.

“This is why it is critical to maintain the maximum consolidation of the free world and do everything possible and impossible to ensure Ukraine's ability to inflict defeats on Russia. This is the only language Moscow understands.

“We continue to work with partners to impose sanctions on Russia, disrupt Russian sanctions evasion schemes, and make every effort to confiscate frozen Russian assets in various jurisdictions. I am grateful to everyone who assists us in seizing Russian assets.”
