Faith accused her brother of threatening the lives of her husband, school pupils, and teachers. She also Fiwukah of malicious damage and trespass on her property.

Magna Faith Krimi, the proprietress of Jonathan Krimi Academy and daughter of the late former Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Johnson Jonathan, has petitioned the Inspector-General of Police, Olukayode Egbetokun, against her elder brother, Fiwukah Johnson Krimi.

Faith accused her brother of threatening the lives of her husband, school pupils, and teachers. She also Fiwukah of malicious damage and trespass on her property.

Faith in the petition dated February 15, 2024, said that Fiwukah - a Pastor at Champion Faith Assembly - knowing that he was not licensed or privileged to enter Jonathan Krimi Academy’s property located at KM 26, Abuja Keffi Express Road Opposite Goshen, Nasarawa State, unlawfully entered and remained on the premises of the Academy on February 14.

She said this happened even though “an order to leave or not to re-enter the property had been personally communicated to him by her legal representative, Iyke Ozoemalam and another authorised person, Comfort Michael Tomola”.

She said, “Fiwukah Johnson Krimi intended to enter, entered Jonathan Krimi Academy’s property, criminally trespassed, harassed, threatened and caused damages to and harm to students, teachers, workers and the property of JK Academy.

“Fiwukah Johnson Krimi, having no legal right, physically entered onto Jonathan Krimi Academy’s property unauthorized, without consent expressly and implicitly directed threats toward children, school teachers, school personnel, workers and owner of Jonathan Krimi Academy.

“Fiwukah Johnson Krimi damaged property, taunted, intimidated, frightened, terrorized and disrupted Jonathan Krimi Academy and its activities leading to unimaginable trauma caused to the teachers and workers of Jonathan Krimi Academy.”

She maintained that the Academy has a viable claim of damages suffered as a result of Fiwukah’s actions following his alleged unlawful entry into Jonathan Krimi Academy’s property to substantially cause harm.

She said, “That JK Academy is seeking intervention through the law and Nigeria Police Force, for the injury caused by Fiwukah Johnson Krimi to JK Academy, students, teachers, workers and owner to include but not limited to loss of service confidence, loss of business and market value, costs of restoration, loss of use of the property, damage to property, emotional distress, discomfort and annoyance.

“Fiwukah Johnson’s threats against Jonathan Krimi Academy’s students, personnel and property are not only illegal, they run counter to our nation’s core values.

“Those who dedicate their time and energy to ensuring that our children receive proper education in a safe environment deserve to be able to do their work without fear for their safety.

“Fiwukah Johnson Krimi’s expression of intent to do harm and action of violence against Jonathan Krimi Academy has brought a lot of fear, no parent should be scared to send their children to school and no teacher should be afraid to teach in school.”

“Ensuring the safety of children at Jonathan Krimi Academy is a responsibility that belongs to everyone in society and any action short of that should be met with fierce response,” Faith added.

Faith told SaharaReporters that Fiwukah’s anger is premised on the fact that she made her husband who was his (Fiwukah) classmate and eventually his driver, the Director of Jonathan Krimi Academy.

She noted that driven by hatred that her husband was not on the same social and financial level as her family, her elder brother had vowed to take Jonathan Krimi Academy’s property.

In a 28-second video made during Fiwukah’s visit to the school which was obtained by SaharaReporters, Fiwukah is heard telling the school teachers that his brother-in-law was his schoolmate whom he (Fiwukah) accommodated for four years.

He said, “Daniel, my schoolmate from JSS 1 (Junior Secondary School 1). I met him on January 11, 1991… somebody that I was housing, sleeping on my couch for four years. He came in to my sister.”

In a statement written at the Goshen Police Station in the Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, one of the staff members of the school, Michael Comfort, said that Fiwukah “claiming the ownership of Jonathan Krimi Academy property, strolled into the school premises to make noise and destroyed the property of the school".

According to Comfort, “He (Fiwukah) also threatened to be coming every day for the next one month to disrupt the school activities”.

“He insisted that the school should be shut down and taken away from the property,” she added.

Also, in an official complaint of threat dated February 15, 2024, the Preceptor of the school, Fabikun Oluwayemisi Daniel, said that the place was thrown into commotion when Fiwukah came to the school premises, claiming ownership of the property and threatening its peace and serenity.

He said, “The innocent children witnessed the destruction of the school's property, as well as the use of strong foul language and (he) promised to keep coming for the purpose of shutting down the school.

“We at Jonathan Krimi Academy are reaching out to the Nigeria Police Force on this issue and to all International Security Councils for the sake of the young minds and entire staff who solely depend on the school for their source of livelihood.

“We want to ensure that there are no existential threats or dangers to the children, staff and population at and around Jonathan Krimi Academy.”

When SaharaReporters contacted Mr Fiwukah for comments, he simply replied, “Matter is in court. No comment.”
