Ailing Nigerian comic actor, John Okafor, aka Mr. Ibu, has passed on at 62 years old.
According to multiple reports from sources close to him, the veteran comedian passed away at Evercare hospital.

SaharaReporters had in November reported that the family of Mr. Ibu revealed that the actor had undergone seven surgeries but to keep his hope of staying alive, one of his legs was amputated.
The family had said the actor successfully underwent five surgeries and would be flown abroad for further treatment before he finally passed on.
