This was disclosed by a popular counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in Lake Chad, Zagazola Makama in a Twitter post.
According to him, Abdulkadir was brutally murdered on Sunday inside his office in the university campus.
“Dr Kamar Abdulkadir, a lecturer of the Department of Physical Health Education, at the University of Maiduguri, has been brutally murdered in his office,” Makama posted.
“Abdulkadir was killed on Sunday when the attacker sneaked into his office and attacked him with a knife and hammer.”
Makama added that the victim was later found dead in a pool of blood with several injuries inflicted on his bodies by his killers.
