Haruna Garba Magashi, the vice-presidential candidate of the African Action Congress in the 2023 general election has decried the unbearable hardship Nigerians have gone through, especially during this Ramadan.

Magashi, who stated this in a message on the occasion of the Eid-El-Fitr celebration, expressed hope that the masses will wake up and take back their rights.

The legal practitioner saluted Comrade Omoyele Sowere, the AAC presidential candidate in the 2019 and 2023 elections and prayed to God to grant him good health and strength to move on.

He also congratulated Nigerians on the Eid-El-Fitr celebration, especially the Muslim Ummah, thanking the Almighty Allah for sparing their lives to witness the end of Ramadan under hardship, which according to him was imposed by those leading the nation.

He said, "I wish to express my gratitude to Almighty Allah for sparing our lives to witness the end of Ramadan under much hardship imposed by those in the realm of the affairs of the Nation.

"I also congratulate Nigerians on the Eid El Fitr ceremony. May He (S) ease our affairs and give us the strength to confront this life."

He added, "Nigerians have gone through an unbearable hardship especially during this Ramadan all at the expense of a few elites who chose to suffer the masses for their gain. Hopefully, the masses will wake up and take over their trampled rights.

"I extend Sallah greetings specifically to our own Comrade Omoyele Sowere. May God grant him good health and strength to move on."
