Alen Kevric, a 50-year-old health & safety consultant has camped outside a London police station, asking for justice.

He accused the police of harassment and brutality.

Alen Kevric made this known in a letter published by CarrZee.org on Saturday, noting that he also uncovered that the charity was operating illegally without a valid business licence and was involved in rent extortion fraud involving rogue landlords.

He asserted that the charity home denied him and his children access to food, adding that he was physically assaulted and unlawfully and violently evicted by Met Police officers from the station and unlawfully imprisoned for 20 hours.

He said, "I am UK resident and London has been my home since August 1992. I arrived from Bosnia as 18-year-old refugee escaping civil war in my country Yugoslavia.

"Since then I got married and I am the father to 3 daughters, son and a grandfather to a 3-year-old boy- my beautiful children.

"I was a resident of homeless shelter provided by 'homeless Charity St. Mungos location at 284 Amhurst road. I was given an eviction notice by St. Mungos management because I uncovered that the premises I was staying is 'unfit for human habitation - (Legal Term) due to various breaches of fire safety order 2010 and numerous health and safety regulations breaches. Examples include: All fire extinguishers are purposely removed from the premises; Fire detection system in each room is deactivated; No valid gas safety certificate; Compromised compartmentalisation

"All the above makes the property a death trap.

"I also uncovered that the charity is operating illegally without a valid business licence and are involved in rent extortion fraud involving rouge (sic) landlords. I disputed eviction notice and started a pre-action protocol which is required by law. Respond of the St. Mungos charity was to engage in unlawful and criminal activities by denying me access to my only principal home, room 13, 284 Amhurst road.

"St Mungos Charity even denied me access to food and my Children by preventing my son handing me bag of food. After daily harrasment by management and Police officers on 18th of March I was physically assaulted, unlawfully and violently evicted by Met Police officers from this station.

"I was then unlawfully imprisoned for 20 hours. I was physically assaulted in the police station because I did not want to remove my cross neckless as I’m Christian. Sergeant then tried and failed to forcefully and unlawfully obtain my DNA and lied on camera. In order to justify their unlawful imprisoment, an officer, at 3am invented a crime and falsely accused me of assulting him, even though he and his colleages were one who assaulted me.

"I was released on bail on the 19th of March under the condition not to enter my only home: room 13, 284 Amhurst Road. I attended bail appointment on the 20th but Sergeant in charge refused to interview me.”

"I am still waiting to be interviewed about the whole incident. No statement has been taken from me yet. For several days all I had was my pyjamas and my jacket on. I slept on cardboard boxes in a local park for several days. I finally got some of my belongings on 23rd of March. This is why I am here," the letter added.
