She said; "Brig Gen Okoige Solomon, a gynaecologist took over the realm of affairs as the corps commander medical corps, March 2023 from Gen Solebo. He began his reign with random deductions /short-payment of medical allowance to the professionals in the medical corps. The shortchanging is not syncronised as the deductions vary from individuals.

"For the past 10 months, I have been experiencing short-payment of N38,400 on my monthly basis without any explanation.

"Anytime I go to the Army central finance office at Apapa for complaints, their response is always the same that it's the order from the corps commander.

"The Nigerian government should look into the high level of corruption in the military especially the Nigerian army.

"The soldiers deployed for Internal security across the theatre are being paid 45,000 while Air force and navy are paying N75,000 to their soldiers.

"The level of voluntary discharge in the army is as the result of high inhuman treatment we got from our commanders. The cheating is nothing to write home about.

"The MAFA allowance approved by the former president was not implemented by the army while the navy and air force are on 50% implementation, army are on 20%.

"We can't talk, we must not grant interview to the press, we must not complain, not grumble and no one is talking for us. Must we die in silence? Suffering and smiling.
