The Oyo State Police Command has reportedly abducted several #WeAreHungry peaceful protesters at the popular Mokola in Ibadan the state capital.
Nigerians including several activists on Wednesday, staged a peaceful protest across the country tagged #WeAreHungry protest against the hardship and worsening economic situation in the country.
SaharaReporters had reported earlier on Wednesday that a coalition of the civil society organisations including Take It Back Movement, Joint Action Front (JAF), Education Rights Campaign, African Action Congress (AAC) and the Socialist Workers League had in a statement jointly signed by the leaders of the organisations vowed to go ahead with the protest irrespective of the threat by the Department of State Services (DSS).

The organises had earlier unveiled the takeoff points and times across the country. For Oyo State, location Ibadan by Mokola Roundabout, Underbridge and time is 8am.
Meanwhile, the peaceful protesters who gathered at Mokola roundabout were rounded up by the policemen in Oyo State and whisked to an unknown location.
@netufo_t, who shared the information in a tweet, said that the last location where the protesters were being being taking to was the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID).
The activist also attached pictures of some that were wounded.
