Nigerian Police Arrest Four Suspected Killers Of Retired Army General, Udokwere In Abuja

The police in the FCT had confirmed that the attack occurred on Saturday around 3am saying the Commissioner of Police, Benneth Igweh, ordered "a discreet investigation into the circumstances surrounding this regrettable event." 

 

Four suspected killers of a retired Brigadier General of the Nigerian Army, and national chairman of retired members of the Nigerian Armed Forces, Brig. Gen. Harold Udokwere, have been arrested by the police. 

 

SaharaReporters had on Saturday reported that some robbers attacked Sunshine Homes estate in the Lokogoma area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, killing Udokwere.

SaharaReporters learnt that three suspects had been arrested who confessed to attacking and killing Udokwere in his residence.

 

According to top police sources, the suspects were identified as 33-year-old Ibrahim Rabiu; Nafiu Jamil, 33; Aliyu Abdullahi, 47; and Mohammed Nuhu, 28.
