Nigerian Man Arrested In Libya For 'Stabbing Fellow Migrant Worker To Death'

A Nigerian national has been reportedly arrested by the police in Sabha city, southwestern Libya over the murder of a migrant worker.

The suspect reportedy stabbed the deceased to death with a weapon during an altercation.

 

According to Migrant Rescue Watch, the accused person confessed to the crime during an interrogation and was referred to public prosecution for legal action.

 

"Police in Sabha arrested a Nigerian #migrant ('D. A. A.', born in 2006) responsible for murder of a #migrant worker. The victim was stabbed with white weapon during altercation and died.

 

"The accused during interrogation confessed to the crime and was referred to public prosecution for legal action," the post reads.
