Sowore in a post on his X account (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, said the Nigerian ruling class deliberately selected President Bola Tinubu to lead the country in 2023.

#RevolutionNow convener, Omoyele Sowore, has asked Nigerians to reclaim their country from incompetent leaders whom he described as stumblers.

Sowore in a post on his X account (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, said the Nigerian ruling class deliberately selected President Bola Tinubu to lead the country in 2023.

He alleged that the ruling class has been deliberately downplaying his apparent health issues, despite his frequent public stumbles, verbal gaffes, and physical mishaps at public events.

The former African Action Congress presidential candidate said that during the 2023 election cycle, Tinubu stumbled, fumbled and tumbled over, never participated in a political debate during the election, but the ruling class continued to cover up for his failings and obvious health challenges.

He noted that meanwhile, in the US, with just one disastrous presidential debate, President Joe Biden is on the verge of being forced out of his second term presidential race.

Sowore wrote, “During the 2022/2023 election cycle, @OfficialAPCNg candidate @officialABAT stumbled, fumbled and tumbled over; beyond that, he would never participate in a political debate during the election.

“Since the ruling class selected him, he has fumbled and tumbled, but the ruling class have covered up for his failings and obvious health challenges.

“In the US, with just one disastrous interview, @JoeBiden is on the verge of being forced out of his second term presidential race!

“The people of Nigeria must rise up and reclaim their country from fumblers.”

SaharaReporters had reported how President Tinubu tripped and fell while boarding the parade vehicle at the venue of the June 12 Democracy Day in Abuja before he was quickly helped up by his security details.

The presidency through the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, however said that the fall should not diminish the Democracy Day's significance, noting that the President was not a Superman.

Onanuga, while comparing President Tinubu’s experience with that of the incumbent and former US Presidents said, “President Biden has had several slips in the last three years. Even the younger Barack Obama slipped while President.”
