Nigerian Senate Confirms Death of Ifeanyi Ubah in London

The Nigerian Senate has confirmed the death of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah in London, the United Kingdom. 

 

The development was confirmed by the Senate spokesperson, Yemi Adaramodu.

 

Before his death, Ubah represented Anambra South.


Senator Ubah who recently defected from the Young Progressives Party, YPP to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC died in a London hotel in United Kingdom two days after leaving Nigeria.

Ubah who contested the 2014 Governorship election in Anambra State under the Labour Party, died at the age of 52, reportedly of cardiac arrest.

The Chairman, Senate Committee on Petroleum Downstream was in London to attend his son’s graduation.
