Nigerian, Two Cameroonians Arrested In Uganda For Attempting To Illegally Obtain Passports

In a statement released on Tuesday, the Uganda Ministry of Internal Affairs disclosed that a Nigerian suspect, identified as Rahman Adam Bolakale, allegedly used a national ID under the name Makenke Rahman Adam, despite holding a valid Nigerian passport.

A Nigerian and two Cameroon nationals have been arrested for attempting to illegally obtain Ugandan passports.
The suspects were apprehended while trying to fraudulently acquire the document at the Kampala Central Office on Tuesday.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the Uganda Ministry of Internal Affairs disclosed that a Nigerian suspect, identified as Rahman Adam Bolakale, allegedly used a national ID under the name Makenke Rahman Adam, despite holding a valid Nigerian passport.
The suspect allegedly claimed Ugandan heritage, stating that his father belonged to the Mufumbira tribe and his mother was a Muganda.
Meanwhile, two Cameroonian nationals, identified as Sah Cruz Nyimaneke (alias Kato Cruz) and Sah Yuri Kor-Nyui (alias Wasswa Alex), were apprehended while attempting to fraudulently obtain Ugandan passports.
The duo, who falsely identified themselves as Baganda twins, presented illegally acquired national IDs during their application. Both men are confirmed to have valid Cameroonian passports

"We implore the public, especially Ugandans who may be involved in this criminal activity, to refrain from assisting foreigners in obtaining Uganda national documents, to avoid facing severe legal consequences."
“We encourage anyone with information on such individuals to promptly report them to us so that appropriate actions can be taken.”
