Several scores of residents in Mafa village of Tarmuwa Local Government Area of Yobe State have reportedly been killed by Boko Haram terrorists.

Community sources told SaharaReporters on Tuesday morning that 86 bodies had been recovered and deposited in the hospitals while the search for remaining victims was ongoing.

 

 

One of the top sources, also in the government, wrote, "Boko Haram today (Monday) massacred about 100 people in Mafa village of Tarmuwa LGA of Yobe State. Boko Haram invaded the village earlier today (Monday) killing about 100 villagers. 

 

"There would be mass burial tomorrow (today) in Damaturu, the State Capital. 

 

"Already, 86 corpses have been deposited in the hospitals while searching for other victims intensified."

 

When SaharaReporters reached out to the Command's spokesman DSP Dungus Abdulkarim for reaction, he rejected his calls.
