Bako Bala, chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Suru Local Government Area of Kebbi State, has reportedly been shot dead by gunmen.

He wrote, “To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return. Alhaji Bako Bala has died APC chairman of Suru local government.
“He died after kidnappers kidnapped him and his family yesterday night where they shot him with gun, he died now at Medical Centre hospital in Birnin Kebbi. May Allah have mercy on him.”
