Ejiofor made the call in a short post on his X account on Wednesday morning while reacting to a video of a Lebanese woman who accused Palestinian refugees and refugees from other parts of the world of destroying Lebanon.

Counsel to the Biafran group, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor, has called for global support for Israel in the ongoing war between Israel and other countries in the Middle-East.

Ejiofor made the call in a short post on his X account on Wednesday morning while reacting to a video of a Lebanese woman who accused Palestinian refugees and refugees from other parts of the world of destroying Lebanon.

The IPOB lawyer said that the world must unite to support Israel in fighting against what he described as the barbarism created by Iran.

According to Ejiofor, all civilised countries across the world should stand firmly by Israel which has been at war with Hamas militant group in Gaza, Palestine, Hezbollah militant group in Lebanon and other countries in the Middle East.

Ejiofor wrote, “The naked truth; the world must unite to support Israel in fighting against the barbarism created by Iran. All civilised countries should stand firmly by Israel.”

There have been raging wars between Israel and Hamas militant group in Gaza, Palestine and Hezbollah militant group in Lebanon, in which thousands of civilians have been killed and millions displaced.

SaharaReporters had reported that South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa, on Monday expressed worry over the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

He had expressed his concerns while reflecting on one year since Hamas launched an attack on Isreal.

Ramaphosa said that more than 43,000 lives have been lost from the incident, and that the violence that has been committed by Israel against Palestinians over many decades intensified after an attack on Israel by Hamas and other Palestinian armed groups on October 7, 2023.

He noted that the majority of those killed in the past year have mostly been Palestinian civilians.

Some countries including some African countries have since last year accused Israel of genocide in Gaza and other Middle East countries.
