There were no casualties in a two-story building that collapsed in Orile Iganmu, Lagos, Monday morning, the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) has announced.
LASEMA's Head Public Affairs, Mr. Nosa Okunbor, who disclosed this in a statement on the Monday, said the building, located on Amusu Street, Baale Bus Stop, Orile Iganmu, collapsed at around 8:45 a.m.
According to him, LASEMA's Response Teams were quickly deployed to the scene for search and rescue operations.
“LASEMA Response Teams in Search and Rescue Operation is at a self-collapsed building on Amusu Street, Baale Bus Stop, Orile Iganmu.
“No casualties and updates to follow,” he said.
