Controversial Nigerian crossdresser and social media influencer Idris Okunleye, better known as Bobrisky, has been arrested by security operatives at the Lagos Airport.

Social commentator Isaac Fayose, the brother of former Ekiti State Governor, on Thursday, shared a photo of himself and Bobrisky as they boarded the same flight to London.

"Look who’s on the same flight with me to London, @Bobrisky222," Fayose shared on his Instagram handle.

He later claimed his arrest was carried out by operatives of the Economic Financial Crimes Commission.

“I'm badly injured, Nigerians help me efcc just arrested me,” he wrote on his Instagram story while sharing a short video of injury.

In October, SaharaReporters reported that Bobrisky had just been arrested while attempting to escape to the Benin Republic.

SaharaReporters had reported that Bobrisky was arrested by the agency at the Seme-Nigerian border during a passport check.

His arrest occurred just hours before he was scheduled to attend a Senate panel of inquiry meeting regarding allegations against him.

Reports indicate that Bobrisky was trying to evade questioning by the Senate.
