Maria Sarungi Tsehai, a Tanzanian activist critical of President Samia Suluhu Hassan, was reportedly abducted by three armed men in Nairobi's Kilimani neighbourhood on Sunday afternoon.

Her husband, David Tsehai, said the couple fled to Kenya four years ago to escape persecution.
"It was the scariest moment of my life," he said in a video shared by the Law Society of Kenya.
"There is no doubt in my mind (it is) the thugs of the Tanzania Information and Security Services (TISS) who are behind this."
Tanzanian and Kenyan authorities have yet to respond to these allegations.
Amnesty International researcher Roland Ebole described the incident as "transnational repression that is happening on Kenyan soil."
Similar abductions of critics have been reported ahead of Tanzania's upcoming elections.
