A petrol-laden tanker has overturned on the Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe Western Bypass in Minna, Niger State, on Saturday, spilling fuel across the roadway.

SaharaReporters gathered that the tanker, which was carrying premium motor spirit (PMS), was departing the NNPC Mega Station when it caught fire, after which the driver drove it out of the filling station.
Both the federal and state Fire fighters have vacated the scene of the incident as they complain of lack of adequate water and chemicals as the situation is getting intense.”
The driver was reported to have sustained partial injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
As at the time of filing this report, the cause of the fire was still unknown.
