The officer appears motionless at intervals, suggesting he sustained serious injuries during the attack.
Also visible in the video is a Toyota Sienna vehicle belonging to the Nigeria Police Force, parked by the roadside with one of its doors left open, indicating that the officers may have been ambushed or forced out of the vehicle during the incident.

The speaker repeatedly shouted commands, suggesting a hostile confrontation.
The attacker speaking in the video was also heard moving closer to the injured officer, verbally abusing him and ordering him to remain on the ground.
The officer was assaulted while lying helpless, according to the footage.
At some point during the recording, a gunshot is heard in the background, further heightening concerns about the level of violence involved in the attack and the immediate danger faced by security personnel in the area at the time.
As of the time of filing this report, the Delta State Police Command had not issued an official statement on the incident, and it remains unclear whether any arrests have been made or if additional officers were injured or killed during the attack.
