APC Reshuffles 2026 Convention Committee, Names Ex-Governor Aminu Masari As Chairman

In a statement issued from the party’s National Secretariat (Buhari House), the APC said, “In further consultation with the leadership and national stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Central Coordination Committee for the 2026 National Convention has been reconstituted as listed below.” 

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced an adjusted Central Coordination Committee for its 2026 National Convention, introducing changes to the leadership and membership of the body based on what the party described as “zoning exigencies.”

In a statement issued from the party’s National Secretariat (Buhari House), the APC said, “In further consultation with the leadership and national stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Central Coordination Committee for the 2026 National Convention has been reconstituted as listed below.” 

The party added that, “Sub-committees of the Central Coordination Committee will be constituted and announced in due course.”

The reconstituted committee is chaired by former Katsina State Governor and ex-Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Bello Masari, CFR.

Former Senate President, H.E. Sen. Anyim Pius Anyim, GCON, was named Vice Chairman I, while Kwara State Governor, H.E. Alh. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, was appointed Vice Chairman II.

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, will serve as Treasurer, while Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, was named Secretary.
