Adejobi had claimed that to every rule, there must be an exception to save some situations.

The Nigeria Police Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has come under criticisms, over his tweet that a road safety officer who wanted to arrest him for answering a call while driving allowed him to go after noticing he is a policeman.
Adejobi had claimed that to every rule, there must be an exception to save some situations.
He had written this on his official twitter handle @Princemoye1:
"I was driving today in Abuja, and one road safety officer who wanted to arrest me for using phone, heard me instructing the DPO to put one person in d cell, he just saluted me, and passed me.
"This is to say "to every rule, there must be an exception to save some situations. Lol"

But the tweet did not go down well with Nigerian Twitter users as they accused him of telling Nigerians how his security agents broke laws with impunity.

A Twitter user, @von_Bismack, responded to him, "This is wrong. You are telling people to break the law for exigencies. You could have kept this advice to yourself, everything mustn’t be written on the internet."

@HonDistinguish accused him of trying to show off by that tweet.
"Same advice..... which exigencies self, he's just feel like showing off to proof his relevancy on TL."

@praisexcellent praised Adejobi for the expo on how to evade arrest.
"Thank you for this format we fit use m pass as well? Follow who kw road"

Another Twitter user, @sallyz80 asked in his tweet, "So what if their line caused an accident and someone dies"

Following the bashing and criticisms that trailed his tweet Adejobi recounted in another tweet saying that it didn't happen in the first place.
He said, "It did not even happen, bc i dont drive myself while on duty, except off duty, and road safety officers dont operate beyong 6pm, or max 7pm. I only tested the strength of fake news, and we can see how its spreading like harmattan inferno.
"We need more education on assimilation and misinformation. Ire oo."
