SaharaReporters learnt that Adebayo was whisked away by the DSS operatives upon his arrival to Nigeria on Tuesday from Italy

His whereabouts have since remained unknown to the family

Adebayo, who was said to have left Nigeria about eight years ago, had arrived Lagos State around 1.30pm on Tuesday afternoon before he was picked by DSS operatives

He was said to have come in from Italy, but had to stop over in Egypt before his arrival in Nigeria

According to a family member, who spoke with SaharaReporters, they are afraid he might have been killed as his father had visited DSS offices but they claimed he wasn't in their custody

He said, "We don't know if he is dead or alive since Tuesday afternoon. He arrived in Nigeria around 1.30pm on Tuesday afternoon before DSS whisked him away. His whereabouts is unknown

“The guy left Nigeria at age 8. He came home on Tuesday. He made it a surprise visit to his family. Only his dad knew he was coming to Nigeria. Other family members did not know – not even his mother

“So as he arrived, he saw his father as he came out. Immediately, the DSS picked him up. Maybe they flagged him or whatever. But from Tuesday till now, we have now seen him or heard from him. The dad went to the DSS office as of Friday. He cried and begged them to at least let them see him. The DSS promised they would talk to him

“But some persons told the dad that when they picked them, they took them through the Third Mainland Bridge and we are afraid that he was killed. We just need help.”,........ed help.”
