In a recent orchestrated move through a concocted rejoinder, one Dr. Abounu Abounu, who claim to be a practicing Medical doctor based in the U.K and shamelessly an associate of our own adopted indigene, the Hon. Minister of State (Health) Dr. Aliyu Idi Hong, stoutly stood honesty on its head in a futile attempt to wriggle out his associate Dr. Hong, from his self-inflicted crisis of confidence that is threatening to consume him.
The first fundamental blunder Dr. Abounu committed in his opening paragraph in defense of his associate was by referring to me as “one Balarabe Musa”. For goodness sake, I am not Balarabe Musa. I am Bello Balarabe based at Bakin Kasuwan Pella. Next time, please cross check your facts before rushing to defend the indefensible (Dr. Hongs’) of this world.
Also in a bid to divert readers’ attention, and to live to his billing as a cracked megaphone of Dr. Hong’s floundering personality amongst his peers and colleagues in the present administration, Dr. Abounu attempted to lecture me on the dictionary meaning of “emerging facts”. While I leave out that aspect for another day, but let me quickly remind him that, as far as he remains a Medical doctor, he is a layman in the English Language and can never give me tutorials in it, except in the field of Medicine.
Equally of note, though Dr. Abounu in his second paragraph of the rejoinder boasted to reply my write up point by point, but surprisingly, he conveniently sidetracked and avoided to comment on the real issues, with the exception of his haphazard response to the N300million mansion procured and paid in cash by his friend, the Minster of State (Health) at Utako in the FCT.
It is against this background that I have decided to put a pin into Dr. Abounu Abounu’s balloon of false hood and his lie embroidery. Let me start by challenging both Dr. Hong and his so called associate Medical doctor in the U.K that, if they are sincere to the sanctity of truth and not desperadoes or worse still, fraudulent characters, who take refuge under the guise of right of reply to peddle falsehood to obfuscate issues, they should react point by point to issues of theft, recorded against the Minister’s Dad at the Divisional Police Station in Hong on 19th December, 2009.In addition, they should comment and reject or accept the directive the Minister gave the Local Government Chairman to place his Dad on a N50,000.00 monthly stipend, aimed to discourage his kleptomaniac father from stealing.

The Minister and his co-travelers should also not shy away from explaining what transpired between him and the District Head as stated in my initial write up. The reaction should include what exactly his appeal was to Governor Murtala Nyako with regard to the District Head in question. Also, why his political ally, the immediate past Chief Imam of Hong Central Mosque was removed last November, 2009.
If Dr. Abounu would not like to be turned into a fiction designer who specializes in lie embroidery, he should come out in full force to educate us more on how much his friend Dr. Hong paid for that controversial mansion he purchased in Abuja. For I don’t think it is enough to say “ it took more than 2 years of living in a rented place before Dr. Hong could save enough of his yearly monetization allowance to lay as deposit for part payment in fulfillment of mortgage repayments in Abuja”. As for me, contrary to his claims, I have cross checked my facts with accompanying documents before publication. I still stand by my story 100%
You should know that Nigeria is an enlightened society. Nigerians owe us explanation on these issues. I have done my own part of the bargain by quoting dates, named names and identified places. The rest is yours.
But if you fail to respond accordingly to any of the issues stated above, after a reasonable period of time, I will be left with no option than to expose them using the appropriate medium at my disposal.
I am patiently waiting for Dr. Abounu and his co-travelers!
