MEND Leader, Henry Okah, Arrested In South Africa

Exiled MEND leader Henry Okah was picked up today by the South African police.

Mr. Okah was arrested and detained in Johannesburg. He is due in court on Monday.

A source told Saharareporters that Mr. Okah might face terrorism charges in South Africa if investigations carried out by the police link him to the October 1st car bombing of the Nigerian independence day parade in Abuja that has so far killed 25 people.
