Lagos State is witnessing some positive 'transformation' but not so for the those resident in poor areas, the "deodorization" of the upper class areas is met with a corresponding "ghettorization" of the poor areas.

The people of Ayobo-Ipaja now claim the Lagos state government is turning them into "wretched of the earth". Ayobo-Ipaja road is just one out of the many unreported abandoned roads in Lagos. From the failed promise of 8 years by the government of Bola Tinubu and then almost   4 Years of Lagos "wonder" Governor Babatunde Fashola. The people of Alimosho now resort to "spiritual intervention" hoping some day the government will remember THEY ARE STILL PART OF LAGOS.
