Wikileaks And Speaker Bankole

It is not what was revealed by the Wikileaks expose that is troubling. After all Sahara reporters had documented same long before the advent of Wikileaks. Of course we still gave the dramatis personae a benefit of doubt. That was until the entry of Wikileaks cable into our lives.

Now, we know better. We know that the Apostle of Do or Die politics stole or should it be bought the 2007 elections for the PDP. We now know that we have a tragic and rotten judiciary. Save for a few of them, our judiciary is for sale to the highest bidder. They are worse than those prostitutes who stand at street corners.

It used to be that the judiciary is the last hope of the common man and the oppressed, but not in Nigeria. If you are poor, you will not get  justice. A big man could decide to steal your land, demolish your house to remove a poor irritant from being his neighbor, could snatch your wife and defile your under age child and you will not get justice. There is only one reason for this injustice and that is because you are poor.

It is now patently clear why Mohammed Buhari did not get justice in 2003 and 2007. He did not have money to bribe the judges, he probably would not have bribed  them even if he had the money. He wanted to practice the rule of law. So, his victory was stolen from under his nose by the party of jackals masquerading as human beings. Does any one still have doubts on why election tribunal cases drag on forever in Nigeria while the guilty is rewarded monthly at the expense of tax payers? greed and terminal corruption by our judiciary, Is it any wonder that election tribunal judges are caught with their hands in the cookie jar? they call, the text they visit one party in an election petition case as long as the price is right. They are invited to parties by one party in an election case pending before them. They are elevated to higher offices or their children are rewarded with juicy federal appointments in exchange for staging a coup against the majority. Yes, that is what it is when you compromise the truth and sell your conscience and integrity. They fight not to be sent to new offices, they rush to the press shamelessly when they feel they might be removed from juicy posts. They attempt to promote a man who never sought for a position. Only in Nigeria.

But, I worry for Nigeria a lot. We are preparing the grounds for the Egypt and Tripoli experience. We cannot continue like this. We must vote out the PDP from power and bring most of them to justice. Otherwise, our country will implode. No one, not one person has been brought to justice since the tragic days of  General Obasanjo. In spite of the damning revelations of greed, whole sale theft of our resources by the Yardua cabal, no one beginning with President Jonathan has had the guts to bring any of these people to justice. We have chosen to play the ostrich game. Ignore the poor masses, tell the vocal elites to go to hell or attempt to bribe them into silence. What type of country do we have? No one has asked Andoaaka to return his loot, no one has attempted tp prosecute this man for grand theft . He also needs to be checked into a psychiatric ward for multiple personality disorder following his many miserable attempts to shore up an off shore president, Yardua. He is still walking free and living off the fat of the land.

How about Justice Marcelle Awokulenin, and Nabaruma and the one in Osun state who played rigmarole with the case of Aregebsola VS Oyinlola for 3 years and some months?  The judiciary stalled, denied justice to compensate for the moniwes paid them to do wrong.  It is proper to fire them an prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law as deterent to others.  Rather than being remorseful, the PDP thumbed their noses at us by celebrating criminality. They celebrated Bode George, the ex convict who still cannot find anything wrong in stealing public funds. He is still in denial or may be it is this arrogance of self entitlement prevalent in the PDP. The bottom point is that they are insensitive to the pain of the masses. A perfect recipe for a revolution. The mealy mouthed denial by Obasanjo over the Bode George show of shame is what it is, Hog wash. No one believed him, and he did  not even believe himself. This man, Obasanjo is the most rabid enemy of Nigeria. He has an an antecedent. Who will ever forget his blatant denial of victory to Obafemi Awolowo in the infamous 12 2/3 drama. How about his contribution to the abortion and eventual murder of M.K.O Abiola?  It is unfortunate that he is always on the wrong side of history. He waited until the whole world knew late  President Yardual was terminal, that his bag man, the custodian of the stolen Buhari mandate was permanently tied to his sick bed, he waited until the Save Nigeria Group spoke up before he summoned the courage to seek transfer of power as enshrined in the Constitution. Even then, he still managed to lie, to claim what he did not work for. In the interim, the PDP and Yardua cabal went on a shopping spree to buy over our judiciary and they were successful.

Now to Speaker Bankole. No one needs to be told that this person with zero experience in public service is ego driven. Like the rest of our legislooters, he knew Yardua was terminal. He knew the man did not sign the budget. He knew the man never  spoke to any one. He knew what was right. The only thing is that he was in the mode for  self preservation. He was in the mode to loot as much as he could, for the rainy day. I see the useless umbrella of the PDP did not provide enough security. So, he chose to sell us down the river and here we are today.

But as we march towards April 2011, let all those who want steal our votes be prepared  for whatever comes out of it. There is a lot of frustration and desperation in the land. There is no confidence left in the PDP monstrosity we call a government. So, the people will defend their votes this time around, no matter what the grand daddy of Do or Die politics may plan. It will not be a walk in the park like it was in 2007. Nigerians have had it.

The excesses of the PDP is offensive to all what is decent. Not even in Hobbes animal kingdom do we find these types of people. The disdain with which they treat  Nigeria ia appalling.   Unfortunately, they have gotten used to having their way. Not anymore.  Look at it this way, the PDP is not known with anything decent or noble. One needs several years to document their excesses.  But here are a few:

1. They stole the election of 2003 and 2007  from Buhari.

2. They looked the other way while James Ibori was allowed to rule and rape Delta state even while he was a known ex convict. Case files disappeared, witnesses developed amnesia and some James Onanefe Ibori supposedly found Jesus and chose to own up to a crime committed by James Ibori the governor. Of course, the chicken has come home to roost in the Ibori case.

3. How about their cross dressing governor, DSP? he stole enough to grow too fat to need an abdominoplasty.

4,.Bola Ige, Harry Marshall, and others to numerous to recount were murdered. No one has resolved to murder of Bola Ige till now. It is scary to think that a seating Attorney General could be murdered mysteriously and no one could resolve his murder. They perfected the art of mystery killings that Professor Soyinka  could not resist calling them a nest of killers.

5.  How about the abduction of Governor Chris Ngige? the UBA brothers attempted to kidnap or was it abduct an incubent governor while the PDP govt in Abuja looked the other way. It is not a matter of Okija shrine or not. It is a matter of impunity displayed by these people.

6. Governors who did not play ball with Obasanjo were impeached in gross violation of the law. Governors Dariye, DSP, Fayose tasted the wrath of the Emperor of Owu. Nothing like the rule of law. He did not wait for the law to take its course in punishing these thieves for looting their states, he chose to violate the Constituion by sending his enemies into political Siberia. He had a good, willing and ready acomplice in Nuhu Ribadu, the man who never ever saw anything wrong in Obasanjo.

7. Used and dumped  Tafa Balogun after he had been used to steal the 2003 elections. Now, Tafa knows better.

8 Imposed Patricia Ette on the country as the Speaker even when she could not write her name backwards. She is reported to be a former hairdresser who is baba's favourite girl, and so she was imposed on us until she timed herself out.

9 Does any one remember Andy Uba? He was reported to be a former insurance salaesman  in California, USA until providence smiled at him and he became chief domestic servant of OBJ. That position earned him the right as far as the PDP  is concerned to use the presidential jet to do money laundering. While America threw the books at him, the PDP Govt. cuddled him.

10. Under the PDP govt. power generation thanked out. A reported USD 16 billion flew away. Olusegun Agagu and GOV Imoke, the two  people fingered in the scam talked down at us and were promptly rewarded with governor's offices for it.

11. How about our roads? The money is in private bank accounts while innocent people die needlessly on our roads daily.

12. The Siemens, PTF, SCANDAL are yet to be resolved. While other countries have prosecuted the guilty, in Nigeria, they are walking free. After all it is a family affair, a PDP family affair.

13. Celebrated Bode George for criminality. Only in the PDP.

14. Our education sector has totally collapsed. Our children no longer want to go to school and am tempted to side with them. After all a former hairdresser, ex convicts etc abound in the PDP and in the National Assembly. Some of our governors are even  rumored to have Toronto and Chicago certificates. Yet they are governors under the banner of the PDP.

15. Our health sector is a tragic joke. WHO report estimate that there are 550 deaths per 100,000  live birth in Nigeria. ( I stand to be corrected), yet a former minister and Iyabo Obasanjo   shared  the vote for health services in Nigeria. Iyabo's case is queitly and coveniently forgotten by all concerned

16. The country went from bad to worse security wise. Now we are a nation of bombers and kidnappers. Friends  from Eastern Nigeria were too afraid to go home in the last Christmas for fear of aduction and kidnapping. Jos is a lake of blood, yet no one has been arrested.

I will recommend some  books to the Apostates in the PDP. It is the histroy of the French revolution. If they find that boring, they may just want to try reading up on the history of the Bolshevic revolution. It may  just wise them up. For those who cannot read or write amongst them, at least the clowns from Ondo South cannot read or write, then let the others who can read or write tell them  what they read.
