Olajide Oluwaseun Noibi, the 24-year old Nigerian-American who is at the center of a bizarre case of jetliner stowaway in  United States with stolen traveling documents  had told friends on social network postings that he was doing it for Jesus. Family sources told SaharaReporters last night that  he was possibly going through some mental problems.

According to U.S. officials, Mr. Noibi is facing charges of stowing away in a jetliner from New York to Los Angeles.

The US Transport Security Administration officials and the FBI are investigating Mr. Noibi’s twisted tales. After his arrest  in Los Angeles, Mr. Noibi was found to be in possession of ten more fake tickets and boarding passes.

Noibi’s problems started when passengers in the upscale cabin of the Virgin America Flight 415 from New York to Los Angeles complained that the man on seat 3E had disturbing body odor. When asked for his boarding pass it was discovered that he was traveling with a day old boarding pass for a different flight and under someone else’s name.

For some unexplained reasons, Mr. Noibi was not detained when the flight landed at Los Angeles. Four days after, Noibi returned to the airport and was arrested while trying to board a flight to Atlanta. The FBI discovered that he had a stolen boarding pass and ID card. In addition to the stolen ID, authorities say Noibi had up to 10 old boarding passes containing different names.

According to the report from ABC7 television channel monitored by Saharareporters, Mr. Noibi, also known as "Seun Noibi" is a self-proclaimed “storyteller, strategist and designer who is passionate about reaching the world for Jesus.” The TV station quoted various websites and social media pages that record his affiliations.

Family sources told the TV channel that Seun Noibi relocated to Nigeria recently. Our sources   described Mr. Noibi as someone very popular within the Lagos social circles where he carried himself around as a successful businessman who also embraced the gospel.

Born in Ames, Iowa, Noibi claimed to have co-founded ‘Unleash Nigeria’ with his namesake, Seun Osewa, the founder of the popular Nigerian forum Nairaland.com. He told investigators that he has an office in the Southwest Side of Chicago. SaharaReporters contacted Mr. Osewa via email to ask about  their relationship but he did not respond to our requests.

Mr. Noibi told TSA agents that he graduated from the University of Michigan in 2008 but some family sources told SaharaReporters that they could not vouch that he completed an Engineering degree program at the school.

In unusual posts he made under different identities, he claimed to be operating under the direction of God. In one post he wrote, "When I told God to use me I did not know he'll take me serious. Here I am. Use more of me. Meetings right into my birthday on sunday and then back in las gidi...for  the Diko and Friends in Concert and Album Launch. It can only be God." On one website he claimed to be the principal executive of Unleash Media Inc and Unleash 9JA, "a movement of independent thinkers, artist, musicians and filmmakers propagating the african experience" according to one website.

In 2008, Olajide Oluwaseun Noibi was arrested in Chicago for refusal to pay a $4.70 fare on a Metro train. Charges were later dropped.

In an August 10, 2010 comment on his face book page, Olajide Noibi wrote:

“This are the voyagers of the children of God

Our lifelong mission is to seek out souls for His Glory and honor

To fill up new hearts with His presence and power

To teach and preach the uncompromising word of God

To boldly go where Jesus Christ tells us to go

LIVE LONG AND PROSPER”

Mr. Noibi's last posting on his Facebook page was on June 20 at 5:35pm, in it he ranted "Newyork state of Minde! Stealth mode y'all. Thanks for all the messages on my birthday. I can feel your love!"
