The hackers are calling their mission “Operation: Say No To Internet Censorship”. The groups reasoning and other claims was posted on the EFCC website - www.efccnigeria.org. Apparently EFCC webmasters are working to restore the original site homepage

Upon clicking on the website,   an image of a person holding a green image with the words “51st Anniversary, referring to Nigeria. Below the image, the Hactivist display their message.

“It is clear that the government takes us for fools.
It is clear that they would rather block all chance of expression of the african youth's aspirations for change,” the hackers noted in a message that appear on the hacked website.

The message also goes further by declaring an Internet war, if the Nigerian government continues to censor Internet usage in the country.

“Any effort made to Censor the Internet will therefore result to a state of war between NaijaCyberHactivists (with well meaning Nigerians on our side) and the Nigerian Government should they find themselves so inclined to impose censorship upon the Internet,” the hackers included in their message.

The bold hactivist group ended their message by reminding the EFCC and other government entities “We are the Internet. Expect Us!”

The groups has also defaced the website of the Nigerian Communication Commission with a similar message.
