A bank, police station and a hotel were razed down in the area, Daily Trust learnt.
JTF spokesman, Lieutenant Colonel Sagir Musa said some security operatives confronted the assailants and killed three of them during a heated gunfire in the dead of the night.
“We recovered 1 milk colour unregistered Isuzu pickup van; 1 pump action gun, 1 Ak47 riffle and 1 double barrel gun,”the spokesman said.

Others according to him include a box loaded with assorted ammunitions, 19 empty magazine of Ak47 rifle; 1 bullet proof jacket; a crash helmet and a DVD player.
