Ramadan: JNI Asks Muslims To Pray For Peaceful Co-existence of Nigeria

 

Jama'atu Nasril Islam (JNI), under the leadership of His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto and the President-General, JNI, Alhaji (Dr) Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar, CFR, mni, has sent its felicitations to the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria over the successful start of the Ramadan fast on Friday, July 20.

 

In a message signed by its Secretary General, Dr. Khalid Aliyu Abubakar, JNI called on all Nigerians, particularly the Muslims, to utilize properly the spirit of Ramadan and recite more of the Glorious Qur’an and be punctual in the observance of obligatory prayers and Taraweeh in congregation.

 

It also urged all Muslims to pray fervently for the peaceful co-existence of Nigeria and for Allah to put to shame those that are bent on causing chaos and unrest.

 

“Indeed Ramadan is a month of self-restraint, patience and dedication to the service of Allah; therefore, we must collectively do so to earn Allah's blessings and forgiveness in this blessed month,” the statement said.
