PHOTONEWS: Nigerian Activists Protest Marikana Massacre Of Lonmin Miners

Members of the Democratic Socialist Movement (DSM) protested today at the South AfricanHigh Commission in Lagos. the activist group protested against the Marikana massacre in Lonmin which claimed 34 miners. Group protest leaders said protest was in solidarity with the miners and their demand for better condition of service. Dagga Tolar, Publicity Secretary of the organisation spoke on behalf of the protesters and also read out the protest letter addressed to President Jacob Zuma. The later forwarded to Zuma through the High Commissioner.

  Mr. Lindak Pule, the First Secretary at Corporate Services Department, at the commission received the protest letter on behalf of the high commissioner.
