Al Ahly Football Club Of Egypt Crashes Out FIFA Club World Cup Tournament In Japan

Al Ahly of Egypt has been eliminated from the ongoing FIFA Club World Cup taking place in Japan.

The African Football champion and the only African representative in the competition was eliminated from the tournament after a terrible loss to Corinthians of Brazil in a semi-final march, they lost 0 - 1 to the Brazilian side.

The goal was scored by striker Paolo Guerrero during the half-hour of the game which ended the teams participation in the FIFA organized game.
 
The team hopes to play third place match like they did in their 2006 appearance.

The Corinthians of Brazil will now meet the winner between Chelsea and Monterrey at the finals to be played at Yokohama Stadium.

 Al-Ahly will play a third placement match on Saturday.

This is the fourth time that the African club will participate in FIFA World Cup

The total prize money for the tournament is 16.5 million USD, with the overall winner getting $5 million.
