A credible source in Gombe confirmed to SaharaReporters that Ganga, who represents Gombe North Constituency, regained his freedom last night. He was seized at about 5:30 am after prayers in a mosque.
Information is still unavailable as to whether a ransom was paid for his release, and the reasons behind his abduction.
