Kano Bomb Blast: 22 Dead, 65 Injured - Police

The Kano state Police command has disclosed that 22 people died while 65 were injured in yesterday’s two suicide bomb attacks in a motor park which resulted in the burning of five buses.

The Kano state Police command has disclosed that 22 people died while 65 were injured in yesterday’s two suicide bomb attacks in a motor park which resulted in the burning of five buses.

Confirming the numbers, the State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Musa Daura, told reporters that the two suicide bombers drove a blue Golf car into a commercial Gobison Motors luxury bus which was parked on New Road in Sabon Gari, preparing to leave for Lagos.   Mr. Daura said that the injured persons were taken to various hospitals within the metropolis for treatment while the corpses were deposited in the morgue.
