"Inside the Diaspora with Fatima" Eps. 11 : The #BringBackOurGirls Campaign And The Call For Action

It's been over two months now since almost 300 girls were kidnapped by the militant sect Boko Haram from their school in Chibok, Nigeria and they are yet to be rescued. In this episode, we take you to a Union Square rally where hundreds of protesters voiced their opinions about the abduction and the frustrations caused by both Boko Haram and the Nigerian government.

Nkechi Ogbodo, President and Founder of Kechie's Project, a non-profit organization committed to empowering girls in Nigeria and America with the educational and social support needed to become future leaders stopped by for an in-studio interview. She give her perspectives of the #BringBackOurGirls campaign and what her organization has been doing to fight for the girls to be returned safely.
