Returning English Premier League side, West Bromwich Albion, have announced the signing of Nigeria international Brown Ideye for a fee believed to be around £10m.

The Baggies announced the arrival of the 25-year-old Dynamo Kiev player on Friday, saying they had broken the club's record.

Ideye, who missed the final cut for Super Eagles squad to the World Cup in Brazil after being on the provisional list, is the club's fifth summer signing as they look to bolster their squad this season.

Ideye, who was a key fixture in the Super Eagles Cup of Nations team last January, has worn 24 caps and scored five goals for Nigeria.  He has also scored 74 goals in 182 career league appearances.

He will meet his new team-mates when they return from the club's pre-season training camp in Sacramento, California.
