Photos Of Lagos State Ebola Virus Isolation Center In Yaba

Currently, ten cases have been officially confirmed in Nigeria with two deaths; Sawyer and a nurse who treated him.

With the growing spate of reported Ebola infections in the country, the Lagos State Government has set up an isolated area for the victims at Mainland hospital in Yaba, Lagos State. Saharareporters has obtained photo of these facilities.

The deadly virus has continued claiming more lives in the West African region. In Nigeria, more infections have been detected among health workers, most of whom had contact with the Liberian victim, Mr. Patrick Sawyer, as he fell ill upon his arrival in Nigeria. 

Currently, ten cases have been officially confirmed in Nigeria with two deaths; Sawyer and a nurse who treated him.

After the death of this first nurse to the virus, another nurse has now been confirmed positive for the Ebola virus. The health ministry said all victims suspected to have the virus have now been quarantined and are undergoing treatment.
