A security source told SaharaReporters that an IED exploded on the campus while students massed around a notice board to check their examination results. The explosion was followed by a series of gunfire apparently, from Boko Haram terrorists.
A bomb explosion at the Federal College Of Education in the Kabuga area of Kano State has killed at least ten persons.

Several students and staff of the school were affected. The majority of the casualties were women.
