Police Parade Man Who Allegedly Raped 10-Year-Old Daughter, Another For Allegedly Raping 3-Year-Old

Newly-deployed Commmissioner of Police ins Borno State, Adoda Clement, recently paraded four men for involvement in criminal activities in Maiduguri. The commissioner paraded a principal suspect, Ali Idris of Maiduguri, for the rape of a ten-year-old child, his daughter. Also part of the group was Bana Kyari, another resident of Maiduguri metropolis, who allegedly raped a three-year-old.

Newly-deployed Commmissioner of Police in Borno State, Adoda Clement, paraded four men for involvement in criminal activities in Maiduguri today.

The commissioner paraded a principal suspect, Ali Idris of Maiduguri, for the rape of a ten-year-old child, his daughter.

Also part of the group was Bana Kyari, another resident of Maiduguri metropolis, who allegedly raped a three-year-old.

Ahmadu Bajoga Bello, 22, another member of the group of suspects paraded, allegedly killed one Abdullahi Saidu over N200 he owed the deceased. Bello, who hailed from Wuyaku village in Biu Local Government Area was said to have committed the offence in 2010 and fled. He was arrested on August 31st, 2014. “The suspect, who was arrested on 31st of August, 2014 has since made a confessional statement admitting to the offence. He divulged that his sordid act was over a debt of N200 he was owing the deceased” the commission confirmed.

The last man, Abdulraman Iliyasu, had been arrested for allegedly killing an immigration officer in the Pompomari area of Maiduguri.

According to the police commissioner, the 24-year-old man, along with another suspect still at large, was hired as a decorator by the deceased officer, Stephen Musa Bassi, before he was murdered.

Regarding the crime, the commission said “The duo buried him within the compound premises before escaping to an unknown destination. After an extensive and painstaking investigation and intelligence-gathering by a team of detectives from the homicide section of the department of criminal investigation, led by ACP Tajudeen Aderinko, the principal suspect, Abdulraman Iliyasu, was eventually arrested in Kano,” CP Clement said.

All suspects will be charged to court after investigations into the crimes have been concluded.
