At the time that a SaharaReporters crew in Akure passed by the secretariat, which stands between two banks in the state capital, it was already wearing a color of the bitterly Peoples Democratic Party in the state.

The signpost of the Labour Party has now been pulled down while the flag of the PDP was then mounted at the front of the office, signaling the death of the Labour Party in Ondo State.
