A French official from the prosecutor's office has disclosed that a dangerously armed man with military grade weapon has taken several people hostage at a local post office in Colombes, a town near Paris.

It is unclear if today’s hostage crisis is related to terror -related killings that took place last week at a the offices of a newspaper and Jewish grocery store last week.
