In a generation United Arab Emirate, a remote poor desert country, become a global giant of unprecedented means, a diversified exceedingly buoyant economy, an IT super high way guru, a nation parading continental ultra rich, an investment destination and world strong tourists magnet. In the bandwagon effects of these multiple dimension high class growth this nation’s airport overtook Britain’s Heathrow airport as the world’s busiest airport, an unthinkable scenario even in most recent times. Today UAE hosts the tallest building in the world and other Architectural master piece or miracles of our time. Nigeria can do more. Buhari, it is your turn to turn Nigeria to a nation with new song.
Another country is Qatar. Qatar has distinguished herself with high economic ranking on global scale. This is a nation of per capita income almost twice that of USA. Qatar is now a much sought land of opportunities by all and sundry all around the world. The oil wealth was judiciously used to build a successful modern nation. Their literacy level is in excess of eighty percent of the population. Take the challenge that because you are in the saddle of leadership the change must be equally more dramatic.

The time has come to move Nigeria to high moral level where corruption becomes a leprosy no one wants to touch. The time must be over to make a few rich at the expense of majority. It is time to turn Nigeria to a land of opportunities for all.
Constantly remember the millions of Nigerian that voted for you inside the sun, the rain, in the midst of intimidations, threats, despising and even some at the risk of their dear lives. Remember also the blood of Nigerians that was shed in the entire course of electioneering and voting. Don’t disappoint Nigerians. Don’t betray Nigerians. Don’t fail Nigerians. If you fail for the reason of building personal empire, making a few rich at the expense of the suffering masses and the making of governance business as usual in looting spree then the spoken and unspoken curses of these millions who dared to vote for you will overtake you even to your generations unborn. Follow not the misrule of your predecessors the very misrule that has laid Nigeria prostrate in its decades of existence.
On a more serious note my prayer for you is that your performances will endear you to the hearts of Nigerians that heartily will they pray for you and say with thrill that you and your team are the best to happen to Nigeria. Then their prayer will accompany you from the beginning of your tenor to its conclusion and to your generations yet unborn. To whom much is given from him is much expected.

A word to Osinbajo: God has endowed you with prodigious intelligence, unusual mental and spiritual trainings and opportunities, divine riches and more please be a Joseph in Egypt, a Daniel in Babylon, a Mordecai in Medes and Persian. We know what became of a nation in global prominence because Joseph was there. Never let it be said that you are a disappointment. I sense powerfully that you will not be a disappointment but contra wise our country and the global community will score your success in superlative excellence.
My dear general Buhari be reminded that:
Lee Kuan Yew’s tenor as Prime Minister turned Singapore into first world from wobbling as third world. Singapore without the advantage of natural resources became a top economy in the global community. The nation became hundred percent literate and a global player in development indices. Over to you, Nigeria’s man of the moment.
Japan without the advantage of natural resources and without oil made it to the top in world economy. A greatly export oriented nation with hundred percent literacy Japan remains a nation to beat in virtually all developmental indices. Nigeria the most populous black nation in the world deserves a place among the top ranking economy in the world. Your ambition must not be less for Nigeria!
You were a military general but now a general to command or lead the nation to enviable heights. Performance will guarantee your second term and at the end of your entire tenure let us be talking of Nigeria in the bracket of the leading twenty economies in the world. I suggest that politicians who have benefited from the rot of the past be excluded in the new dispensation they have many other things they can do than be fixed in places where looting spree can continue. Why not think of new breed or fresh hands to freshly move the nation forward? These kinds are in generous stock across Nigeria.
On a final note: Revolutionize education so that education will revolutionize Nigeria. Revolutionize Agriculture so that agriculture will revolutionize Nigeria. With a nation greatly blessed with arable lands in hundreds of thousands of square kilometers and massive water resources upgrade agriculture so that no one will claim unemployment in the generous modern agricultural possibilities. Revolutionize the economy so that the economy will revolutionize Nigeria. Diversify the economy in uncommon dimensions so that our economy will grow uncommonly.
