The Emir spoke tearfully at the Government House in Kano, Kano State, during the Hawan Nasarawa, in which the Emir paid homage to the government while encouraging leaders to act with the fear of God in all they do, calling their responsibility a great burden.
He furthermore tasked the administration of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje with paying good attention to the issues of security, education, healthcare, and water supply, expressing confidence that Governor Ganduje would fully utilize his vast experience as a technocrat to propel Kano to greater heights.
The Kano Emirate Council was mindful of the immense contribution given to it by the Ganduje administration, the Emir stated, and hoped that the cordial relationship would continue.
