Unknown gunmen have abducted Madam Omogbene Adeborile, the Mother-in-Law to the Olugbo of Ugbo Kingdom, Oba Fredrick Akinrutan, a police source told SaharaReporters.
The police source, speaking to our correspondent on the condition of anonymity, said Madam Adeborile was kidnapped at the late hours of Saturday in Igbotako, in Okitipupa Local Government Area (LGA) of Ondo State.
According to the police source, the hoodlums came into the town unchallenged by shooting sporadically into the air before kidnapping the old woman.

Sources in the town also told SaharaReporters that the aged woman is also the wife of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ward Chairman.
Residents in the community continue to live in fear as a result of the incident, it was gathered.
The Ondo State Police Spokesman, Wole Ogodo, could not be immediately reached for comment at the time of writing this report.
