Newark, NJ, USA – The Annual African Entertainment Awards USA is taking place this October 31st at the Mary Burch Theater at Essex County Community College in Newark, New Jersey.
This first of its kind Award Ceremony, broadcast LIVE by SaharaTV, will celebrate Africa’s most successful and popular artists, producers, promoters, athletes, fashionistas, designers, and entrepreneurs. There is no other event in history celebrating Africa’s artistic and entrepreneurial talent like the African Entertainment Awards USA.
The African Entertainment Awards USA will bring these talented artists, musicians, and entrepreneurs into one place to promote the strength of a united Africa. The mission of the African Entertainment Awards USA is to promote, uplift, enhance, and unite Africans globally to create a platform for voicing and advancing the African agenda around the world.
The African Entertainment Awards USA aims to celebrate African Diaspora leaders making positive social and economic change by creating community organizations and social impact enterprises. Part of the proceeds from the Awards Ceremony will be donated to non-profit organizations like Save Our Nation, which is dedicated to helping children orphaned by the Ebola epidemic.
The African Entertainment Awards USA will be co-hosted by comedians Comrad Fatso and Hassan Oliver, and featuring some of Africa’s top artists including: Diamond Platinums, Eddie Kenzo, Ommy Dimpoz, Neyma, The Ben, Haitian super star Wanito, Barbados and Caribbean star Kirk Brown, and also performing Michael Gray featuring Special ensemble choir.
Africa’s most inspirational performers including Lupita Nyongo, Danai Gurira, Sauti Sol, Bonnie Deuschle, and Akon have been nominated for awards and voted on by more than 121,000 people.
It is time for our generation to show the New Africa. We can only accomplish this by establishing #OneAfrica for all.
